NOTE:

As the Liverpool City Library is unable to accept any further bookings by the Society due to its imminent closure for redevelopment, all meetings are now to be held at the Court Hey Methodist Church Hall. This will be in the first floor meeting room. Meetings will commence at 4pm (Room open at 15.30) and finish at 5.30pm.

Visitors are assured of a warm welcome.

The 2010-2011 Season will also be held in this new venue.For access, there are frequent trains to Broad Green Station from Lime Street.

The Halton and District Bus service 61 stops outside the venue. This operates every 15 minutes from Liverpool 1.

The Church is on the A5080 on Bowring Park road which runs parallel to the M62. The venue is just east of the National Wildfower Centre.

If you are driving from Liverpool City Centre or Queens Drive, do not use the M62 at the Rocket but ensure you take the slip road on the left. The venue will be on your right after the Wildflower Centre.

If you are coming from the east on the M62, use exit 5 and take the A5080 towards the city. The Church Hall is now on your right about 400m from the roundabout.
